PRESIDENT’S LETTER NOVEMBER 2024

Hi Everyone,

The holidays are right around the corner and the weather here in Myrtle Beach is still warm and sunny.  What a great time of year!

We had some great activities for the month of October with a great planning team consisting of Wendy Armstrong, Faith Campbell and Sherry Walters.  They ended the month with an awesome Halloween Party at the Myrtle Beach State Park.  Photos of all the activities can be viewed on Facebook and the CSOC website.

Gene Young and Pat Van are the event planners for November.  They have some great events planned including dinner and a movie at Gordon Biersch in Market Common, Optimist Fish Fry at Crabby Mike’s Surfside, Juke Box Bingo at the Myrtle Beach Elks Lodge, Mini Golf and dinner at 810 Bowling in Market Common, Jazz and dinner at Trivinia’s and ending the month with Grey’s golf event.  Please register for these upcoming events.

The November monthly meeting is our Thanksgiving dinner and meeting.  The sign up for the Thanksgiving dinner is maxed out so if you haven’t signed up PLEASE DO NOT register now.  There is no room so they won’t be able to serve you.  Everyone who attends will need to pay their server for the evening.  The cost is $18.00 per person for dinner plus tip, tax and drinks.

The Christmas Party is Thursday December 5th at the Myrtle Beach Elks Lodge.  Please sign up as soon as possible.  Also please bring a check for the Christmas Party to the November meeting made out to CSOC.  The cost for the Christmas Party is $40.00 per person. This will be a fun event so please be sure and register.  Music will be Kelli J and Larinza Duo.
