Hi Everyone, hope you are having a great summer so far. Our membership has now grown to 148 members.
Sally Patane and Rebecca Meador had some great activities for the month of June. Ceramics, a dolphin cruise, shopping in Pawleys Island, Waccamaw River tour, mini golf and ending the month with the Surfside Beach Festival and lunch at Burgata. Annie Laurie Lehman and Sally Hucks have planned some great activities for the month of July starting off with a 4TH of July Picnic at Sally Hucks home in North Myrtle Beach including walking to the beach for Fireworks. There is also the Casino Boat in Little River, live music and dinner at LaBelle Amie Vineyard, Jazz and Art at Sunset River Art Gallery, Fleetwood Mac tribute at North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, ending the month with Happy Hour and Game Night at 810 Bowling Alley in North Myrtle Beach. The July Monthly Meeting will be at the Myrtle Beach State Park on July 9th at 6 pm. This month we will be at shelter 3B. Make sure you register ahead of time, so we have enough food for everyone. The club will provide food and the members are to provide their own beverages (no glass containers). I look forward to seeing everyone there.
It has been brought to my attention that the Book Club has gotten so large that starting another chapter of Book Club could be an option. If anyone is interested or has suggestions, please let me know and we will discuss at the July meeting.
Also, a reminder to members traveling to Italy, the final payment is due July 22nd. Checks need to be made payable to Coastal Ski Club (CSOC). If you are adding the trip insurance, it is a separate check made out to Holidaze Tours.
