Explore the home from top to bottom, room to room, including the two original slave cabins that still stand on the grounds. Learn about the rich history of Hopsewee, its previous families as well as its current owners, the Beatties, and the slaves who lived and worked on the plantation. During your visit, make sure to enjoy the mossy oaks and river vista. Afterward, enjoy lunch or tea at River Oak Cottage, ranked as one of the state's top tea rooms.
October 21 Hopsewee Tour This is the link to sign up and pay for the tour, everyone will order their own ticket but we have a reservation. We have been given a discount for 10 people. If we don't get 10 I guess we will pay $1.00 more.
To save time we will order lunch prior to doing the tour and it will be ready when we are done. Below is the menu, you can choose and pay before we take the tour.
