River Island Adventures Kayak Tour (10 Apr 2026)

It's round trip, 2 1/2 hour kayaking trip with guide, including a half hour break on an island.

Cost is $40, $20 if you have your own kayak. If we get 10 or more people it will be $5 off.

Let Bill or Elena knw if you need a kayak or if you will bring your own.

Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and snacks.

After kayaking we will go to lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Door open at 2:15 PM (photo backdrop and photographer will be available) The show runs until about 5 - 5:30 PM with 4 breaks between the 4 acts.

This is a dance variety show. Dance teachers and schools in the Myrtle Beach area are invited to participate. Types of dances include Ballroom, Latin, Hip-hop, Tap, Hula and Line. Levels of dancers include Professionals, Amateurs and teams of all ages.

NOTE: You do NOT have to dance at all, this is a show for you to enjoy. There is some social dancing during the breaks between the 4 Acts.

Attire: casual dressy (no jeans, shorts, flip-flops, t-shirts)

Cost: free BUT donations are welcome (suggest) $15 - $20 each)

Theme: "You can't stop the beat" (from Hairspray)

Food/Beverage: BYOB (including soda, wine, beer) and food/snack (only paper goods, ice and water provided)

2 tables of 10 for a maximum of 20 people. Must register by March 31st

Wednesday. April 22, 11AM Green Swamp Nature Preserve. 673 Green Swamp Rd NW, NC. (it is 5.8 miles from the Circle K, parking lot is on the right. IT’S about 1 hour from Myrtle Beach, so carpool.

Guided tour through the only 1 of 2 preserves in the world that have native carnivorous plants such as Venus Fly Traps. It is recommended that you wear rubber boots as parts may be muddy. It’s an easy walk through the preserve.
